About Me

I’m Susan. “Desperately Seeking” Susan. You see, while you may be on this page to learn more about who I am, that line is really meant as a description of my state of mind, not an implied action on your part.

So what is it that I’m seeking so desperately? And more importantly, why should you care?

Well, to answer the first question, I want all the usual things, of course. Life and liberty, and the freedom to pursue my own personal version of happiness. The desperation part comes in because I’m increasingly aware of the passing of time, the tanking of the economy, and the realization that my income is very soon going to bleed away to zero, if I don’t apply a financial tourniquet, and fast. After years of researching making money on the Internet, spending money to learn how to do this (and wasting untold amounts on programs that don’t work), and wondering why the promises don’t pan out and the dreams remain elusive, I have finally learned what I need to learn to make it work.

It starts right now.

As for the part about why you should care, well…if you’ve never wanted to use the Internet as a means of creating an income, then you probably don’t. But if you have, then I intend to provide you with a golden opportunity to follow the progress of a rank newbie, who will tell her story from day one about how she learned to do what had to be done to make a success of herself in a tough arena, and took as many people with her on her rise to the top as wanted to come. You’ll learn as I do, avoid making the mistakes I’m bound to make, finally see that it can really be done, and hopefully find the encouragement to start the journey yourself.

I’ll do all I can to help. People are helping me in this process already, and I will turn and do the same for you, if you want to come along. If you’re tired to death of those who take your money and give you nothing but a pre-packaged, reheated program with nothing new, no support, and unrealistic promises, believe me, I know how you feel. If you’ve tried and failed so often you can barely face trying even one more time, trust me, I’ve been there. If you’re convinced that if you, ignorant, scared, overwhelmed, inexperienced you, could ever do it, then absolutely any idiot must be able to, take a good look at me…I’m you.

Sure, I’m nobody now. Out of work, broke, scared. But I think of what W.H. Murray, the Scottish mountain climber, said:

“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative and creation there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans; that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen events, meetings and material assistance which no one could have dreamed would have come their way. I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe’s couplets: ‘Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now!’”

Susan, I read this article with interest and it brings out a lot of good points. Hi Susan Just read your blog and I can't agree more. There are some very bad PLR's out there. The reason for my visit is simple. As you see my name is Sue McDonald and I live in Australia. I am at present doing the Newbie course with Mark Terrell who originally did the course with Alex a few years ago. It's interesting learning and like everyone that starts these types of courses we all want to make money and have more time to ourselves.
