A New Forum – Giving and Getting Some Tech Help

ATTENTION ALL TECH CHALLENGED READERS!

Tip O’ The Mornin’ To Ya:
One of Alex’s students has created a forum where we can all go to get (or give) some much needed tech help. You won’t find much there at the moment, but it’s a good start to a vital service – you get to post your questions, and someone who knows an embarrassingly great deal more than you will be able to sort you out and get you over yet another of the many tech hurdles we all have facing us in this wild ride to Internet Income success.

The IM Crowd Forum

It’s called The IM Crowd Forum (click this link or on the pic). Get the word out on your blogs so we can all be aware of its existence!

Those kind souls who have been interrupted in their own journey to help others along might find this a nice base from which to dispense their tips and wisdom…no more sending the same instructional email to a dozen different seekers. Post it here once and point everyone who asks toward this site. When I get a sec, I’ll post the blogroll tip I mentioned in my last post to the forum, just to get the ball rolling. Those of you who have seen a need, and have the answer to any of the questions you’ve seen flying around, take a moment and do the same.

Know how to post a video to your blog? Share the steps. Found a better way to get your Profit Pulling Platform up? Let us all know (me especially! Still working on this one). Know of a plugin that will make life easier for we newbie bloggers? Don’t keep it a secret! Just want to say something encouraging? Bless you for a saint.

And those of you who are just starting out, feel free to ask any question. I’m not sure there’s really no such thing as a dumb question, but go ahead and ask it anyway. Life’s a risk.

    Hi Susan,

Checked out the forum. It is very young right now – only a couple of entries.

I hope it can be a valuable resource. Hope it doesn’t end up just being a forum for the sake of being a forum where people go to say cheesy things just to be polite. I’d need that like a hole in the head right now. Come to think of it I already have 4 of them too.

Sorry I had to cut our email exchange short. I am snowed under with all sorts of “requests.”

I put you on my blogaroo yesterday.

ATM I don’t even have time to add functionality to my blog. It looks like a base model clapped out Skoda or a rusted out Lada-Niva compared to some of the Ferraris zooming around in Blog-Land. But I do have good info there and I have created my secret “PROJECT X” – which is about all I have done for myself – and even it is designed to help everybody else. I’ll be chucking out some hints about “X” over at Gary-Land shortly.

Nice to see you moving ahead Susan.

BTW… What are those things climbing up your steps? Tadpoles? Mutated amoebas? Axolotls? Newts? Salamanders? DUNNO! What are they? LOL!

    Jeez,

    What happened above?

I pressed the submit button and everything went everywhere!

Hope this one works better – just testing to see if you have a problem, Susan, or maybe it was just me.

Hi Susan, Thanks for the plug.

Yes, I know it’s in it’s early days but everything has got to start somewhere. The site will only grow if people join & participate.

I’ve just added a post http://www.theimcrowd.com/bb3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=17 which has some useful videos on setting up a blog.

Although The Internet Marketing Crowd is a new site I’m not new to creating forums. I started http://www.k9community.co.uk a few years ago and we now have over 15,000 members – so it proves that the community can work together to create something really useful.

    Thanks, Nigel

Hello, Paull! You’re on my blogroll now. I know what you mean about being busy! Not enough time in a day – pity those who have to work long hours and STILL try to build an online business!

Yes, Alex is a great teacher, and we are very lucky to have gotten in on this, I think. Lots of hard work, but it will get us where we want to be!

    Good luck to you!

Susan, I agree with you about short sentences and short paragraphs. White space is great. It makes it easy to read content. Hi, my name is Cheryl and I am one of Mark Terrell's students. He asked me to visit blogs and comment, both to build traffic and also to learn from other blogs. I would appreciate it if you would visit my blog and leave a comment and tell me what you think. Thank you. Cheryl Jones

Susan, I read this article with interest and it brings out a lot of good points. I would have liked a few more paragraphs or another article on the things that do work as you covered the theories that look good on the surface, but are not entirely true. Hi Susan Just read your blog and I can't agree more. There are some very bad PLR's out there. The reason for my visit is simple. As you see my name is Sue McDonald and I live in Australia. I am at present doing the Newbie course with Mark Terrell who originally did the course with Alex a few years ago. It's interesting learning and like everyone that starts these types of courses we all want to make money and have more time to ourselves. I hope you are making a great living and if you have time over the next few weeks and you could take a look at my blog and leave a comment, I would certainly appreciate. Kindest regards Sue
