Free eBook to help you set up a blog!

Self-tooting horn!

I’ve managed to create a blog, as anyone reading this can obviously see. Well spotted, alert reader! I still have some issues, like making the text big enough for human viewing – the default seems to be on little bitty, which is somewhere below font size 1, apparently. Hopefully fixable. I’m also using Wordpress for this blog, and haven’t figured out just yet how to get my personal API key, which I need to get some of the plugins I want to use working. But these are fairly minor. The main thing is I GOT MY BLOG UP!

And I couldn’t have done it without some help from a fellow newbie, who’s several steps ahead of me on this journey to Internet fame and fortune. As you speed along that information highway, O Cherished Reader, take note of those of us in the bike path, pedaling doggedly along. Please don’t run us down.

Anyway, I want to give a shout-out to Dean Holland (www.deanholland.com) who’s helpful new ebook on how to set up a blog in Wordpress got me over some hurdles and made it all happen quicker than it would have, left to my own resources.

He’s allowed me to offer you a copy of his book for free, just by clicking on the picture. (Told ya – I’ll pass along anything good I can to help you in your own quest!)

He would deserve a mention in any case, just because he’s a helpful guy who’ll offer a hand and a kind word to those of us who are struggling to be like him when we grow up. So visit his blog and tell him Susan said “hi”.

    Hi Susan,

Wow, nice looking blog. You must of done this before?

Thanks for popping by my site and adding me to my blogroll. You’ve got more comments already then it took me a week to get. Seems a long time ago that now though.

Just a reminder that if you want to get featured in the bi-weekly free newsletter “The Profit Pulling Project” you’ve just got the last of the 4 steps to complete :-)

Susan, I agree with you about short sentences and short paragraphs. White space is great. It makes it easy to read content. Hi, my name is Cheryl and I am one of Mark Terrell's students. He asked me to visit blogs and comment, both to build traffic and also to learn from other blogs. I would appreciate it if you would visit my blog and leave a comment and tell me what you think. Thank you. Cheryl Jones

Susan, I read this article with interest and it brings out a lot of good points. I would have liked a few more paragraphs or another article on the things that do work as you covered the theories that look good on the surface, but are not entirely true. Hi Susan Just read your blog and I can't agree more. There are some very bad PLR's out there. The reason for my visit is simple. As you see my name is Sue McDonald and I live in Australia. I am at present doing the Newbie course with Mark Terrell who originally did the course with Alex a few years ago. It's interesting learning and like everyone that starts these types of courses we all want to make money and have more time to ourselves. I hope you are making a great living and if you have time over the next few weeks and you could take a look at my blog and leave a comment, I would certainly appreciate. Kindest regards Sue
